good March 10, 2010 C. C. Siddalingaiah (UK) I got this for my nephew who is just 5yr old. he is really enjoying learning words.
It is educational.
Fab game - highly recommended February 26, 2010 R. Triggs (UK) Good quick paced fun for all ages. Keeps the childrens interest better than scrabble as there is no waiting around. Suitable for 2 or more players.
addicted to banagrams February 24, 2010 A. M. Bloom Bought this for the family over Christmas and we have all become addicted to it. We played it everyday and are still playing together in the evenings. It has been brilliant for the kids for spelling (and me) and much more fun than scrabble because you aren't having to wait turns and everybody is busy thinking. It is easily portable and you can play it on your own too. Highly recommended for fun and education.
Excellent toy February 21, 2010 Janet Murphy Very educational as well as fun. This game has improved the understanding and spelling of my nine years old grand-daughter tremendously. Also fun for adults.
Brilliant Bananagrams! February 19, 2010 Mrs. H. Sloan (S.Wales) My son (11) was bought this as a Christmas present. At first, it didn't look like it was going to be much fun, but it has been played with over and over again.
A little bit like scrabble but so much easier and quicker to play. Everyone plays at the same time so there is no waiting for a turn, and as you make your own words up, everyone can play to their own level. We have taken all the competition out of it when we play by making the aim of the game (at the end when there are only a couple of difficult letters left)to use up all of the letters somewhere. The kids have loved doing this and we have managed it everytime - so far!
My three children aged 9, 11 and 13 have had hours of fun with bananagrama (and so have their parents!). I have bought several as presents.
